Meet Penelope!

Penelope is a commercial airline pilot and the leader of the Girls With Wings™ club with different characters representing the primary areas of aviation. Penelope means "weaver" in Greek so she is the one to interweave the rest of her friends together. She will be introducing us to the rest of the Girls With Wings club members in an upcoming series of books!

She loves to fly, and wants to share her enthusiasm for aviation with girls around the world. The Penelope Pilot Project has been formed to encourage more girls to have an interest in aviation.

Hey Girls!

Girls bring the Penelope Pilot™ coloring page to airshows, fly-ins, visits to the airport, and more. The girls can then upload their pictures to www.PenelopePilotProject.org website, where they can discover new events to attend.

The Penelope Pilot Project will show that we can entertain and educate young girls to explore the power of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, AVIATION and Mathematics while realizing "Yes, Girls Can Fly!"™
